The following is a list of statutes and a brief description of same as it relates to the assets protected from creditors in foreclosure, credit card debt, and lawsuits which may result in a money judgment against you.

2. Homestead Property (after levy) - F.S. 222.02
3. Leased Real Property - F.S. 222.05
4. Wages (including head of family wages)- F.S. 222.11
5. Life insurance policies - F.S. 222.13 
6. Cash surrender value of life insurance - F.S. 222.14
7. Disability and workers compensation income benefits - F.S. 222.18
8. Pensions, IRA, 401, SEP, etc. - F.S. 222.21
9. Tuition Programs - F.S. 222.22
10. Personal Property - F.S. 222.25 
11. Jointly held property - Property owned as Tenants by the Enterity (i.e. as husband and wife) will be exempt from creditors of a sigle debtor. This will include real property and to a lesser extent personal property including bank accounts.
